Cooperative skills, critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity are just a few of the many benefits that digital video can bring to the classroom. I have done digital video with my classroom before and I was so impressed on how well they worked together on creating their story boards. I struggled in creating a rubric for assessing the videos. Here is a great rubric that I found that could easily be modified for any grade level.

I too struggle with the rubrics for video's. I have tried a couple different ones for my highschoolers. Thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeleteA coworker of mine just had her class do videos on a book they read and they turned out great! She also did not have a great rubric to grade them, so I will pass along the rubric you posted!
ReplyDeleteI love the rubric you posted. Thanks for leaving the link. Have you ever used Rubistar? I like the way you can edit them. It gives you a good starting point. http://rubistar.4teachers.org/index.php?screen=NewRubric
