Digital Video
I find that creating digital videos can be a lot of fun. I tried this with my students last year and they had a blast. Of course they were so excited!My students that struggled with writing had no problem with the storyboard. I guess the fact that they were going to use the flip cams for the first time was motivation enough to get them writing. After discussing the different angles of the camera with the students, I was impressed at how much they really paid attention to this. They turned out amazing and I will definately do this again with my students.

Just the thought of being able to use technology seems to motivate students! Do you think that since the storyboard chunks up the writing that it was easier for your students and not as intimidating to them? Sometimes I find that if I do things in smaller sections my students are not as fearful with it.
